I always urge people to call commies "fascists". I don't why but they hate it. Although there is no difference philosophically. And because they hate it I am trying to ruin their collective liver as much as I can. I have firsthand knowledge of commies being offended by fascist name from soviet union. Used to live there for 40+ years. Trust me on that!

They hate it because Hitler and Stalin were enemies in WW-II, even though they are blood brothers politically. There was a strange phenomenon observed here in the U.S. during the late 1930s and early 1940s: While the communists and Nazis were battling in the streets of Germany for control, the Communist Party USA [CPUSA] was fairly silent because the US was an isolationist country. As soon as Hitler and Stalin signed a non-aggression pact and war began, the CPUSA actively campaigned for the US to stay out of the war since we would undoubtedly come in on the side of Great Britain against Hitler, and, by extension, against the Soviet Union. As soon as Hitler invaded Russia, the CPUSA did an immediate about-face and actively campaigned for the US to enter the war on the side of Britain against Germany.
Ever since then, anyone who is against the communists are "fascists" in their eyes. You could always pick out the communist students rioting during the '60s because, as they were being hauled off by the police, they would shout, "Fascist! Fascist! Fascist!" And so it is, whenever a communist is being persecuted, to this day, that is the first thing out of his mouth.
